Florida is home to hundreds of species of birds and spring is breeding season. This is a perfect trip to get you into photographing birds and to develop your skills for birds in flight.
The areas we will visit are well developed pathways or boardwalks so getting around is pretty easy.
We anticipate seeing, great blue heron, great egret, snowy egret, cattle egret, little blue heron, tricolored heron, wood storks, buntings, and more. We will also hope to see raccoons, iguanas, gators, bobcats, hawks, eagles, and osprey.
We will meet you at the Fort Lauderdale airport and drive you to the rental house we will be staying in for the week. The house is well equipped and spacious. We plan for an early morning outing then return for Brunch and break for the middle of the day, then an afternoon outing, maybe some golden light photos and then dinner.
We will be in a spacious rental car and driving you to each location. The majority of the locations feature boardwalks. Otherwise there are well developed pathways
Mornings can still be chilly but the afternoons will likely be warm.
Due to the lighting conditions we plan to have an early start each day. We will shoot for a couple of hours then return to the house for brunch. the mid day sun will be rough to work with so we will typically break for some of that, then venture out in the late afternoon. The evenings will vary but we plan to be shooting during golden hour so dinner will either be a little early or a little late. Be sure to have good walking shoes.

We require a 50% deposit to secure your spot on the tour. The balance will be due 120 days prior to tour date.
